Eric Dudley has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Eric is currently serving as the Director of R&D Engineering at PsiQuantum since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the R&D Lead at PsiQuantum from June 2017 to October 2022. Before joining PsiQuantum, Eric worked at FutureWei Technologies as a Staff Silicon Photonics Development Engineer from January 2014 to April 2017. Their responsibilities included planning, assembly, and delivery of design files, as well as coordinating design and process engineers. Eric began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado in January 2008, where they designed and constructed optical components and conducted experiments. Eric also worked as a Teaching Assistant during this time, overseeing the undergraduate optics lab and grading assignments. Prior to their university experience, Eric was an Associate Optical Engineer at Xerox from January 2005 to January 2008. In this role, they created optical models and performed analysis for sensor and scanner sub-systems. Eric's work at Xerox was recognized, and they were promoted for their contributions to a design project.
Eric Dudley completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Optics from the University of Rochester, from 2001 to 2005. Eric later pursued a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Colorado respectively, from 2008 to 2012 and 2008 to 2013.
