Jeffrey Sinsky's work experience includes:
- Currently working as a Principal R&D Engineer at PsiQuantum starting in September 2022.
- Previously worked as a Principal Electrical Engineer at IPG Photonics from June 2017 to September 2022. In this role, they had technical leadership responsibilities in the design of electrophotonic transceiver modules, designing and analyzing LTCC boards, and working on various high-speed devices and subsystems.
- Before that, they worked at Nokia Bell Labs as a Distinguished Member Of Technical Staff from November 1997 to June 2017. Their research interests included electro-optic packaging, microwave signal processing, silicon photonics, and high-speed transmission.
- Jeffrey started their career as a Senior Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in June 1985 and worked there until November 1997.
Jeffrey Sinsky completed their education at The Johns Hopkins University. Jeffrey obtained a bachelor's degree (BSEE) in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1985, followed by a master's degree (MSEE) in the same field from 1989 to 1992. Jeffrey later pursued a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1994 to 1997.
