Peter Weigel

Peter Weigel is a seasoned professional in electrical and electronics engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Manager of R&D Engineering and formerly as Senior Research and Development Engineer at PsiQuantum since October 2021, Peter's prior roles include Microdevices Engineer and MDL Next Postdoc at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from February 2019 to September 2021, as well as Research Engineer and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California San Diego from July 2013 to November 2018. Early career experiences include positions as Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Optical Technologies at Lehigh University and HMI Systems Intern at General Electric. Peter holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC San Diego, along with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Lehigh University.
