Bas van der Horst

Bas van der Horst has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bas is currently the Co-Founder of two companies, Pokket and PSOhub, which provide innovative software solutions for financial advice and project management respectively. Prior to this, Bas served as the Managing Director at Appronto, where they led the development of intelligent software solutions. Bas also served as a Member of the Investment Committee at OndernemersLift+, providing analysis and feedback on business viability. Bas has a background in technology and business, with previous roles including Country Manager at QlikTech Benelux and Senior Product Manager at ADP Nederland. Bas has also held positions such as CEO at Orange Pepper and COO/CIO and co-founder at factoryZOO & Vitamust. Bas started their career as an e-Business consultant at Viamet/IBM Global Services. Throughout their career, Bas has demonstrated a strong ability to drive innovation and provide leadership in the technology and software industry.

Bas van der Horst has a diverse education history. Bas started their academic journey by attending Sint-Odulphuslyceum from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a HAVO degree. Following this, they enrolled at Fontys University of Applied Sciences and pursued Technische Bedrijfskunde as their field of study. Bas completed their studies at Fontys from 1993 to 1997, earning the degree of Ing.

Later on, Bas went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Derby. Bas attended the University from 1997 to 1999, focusing on business administration.

In addition to their formal education, Bas also obtained the Mendix Rapid Developer certification from Mendix in November 2013.
