Harold Nuñez

Harold Nuñez has worked in the field of microbiology since 2010. Harold began their career at Fundación Ciencia y Vida as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant. In 2013, they became a Catedrático Universitario at Universidad Autónoma de Chile. In 2017, they joined uBiome as the Director of Scientific Content and Data Science Team Lead. In 2020, they joined Psomagen as the Director of Microbiome Research and Development and DTC General Manager. In their roles, they have gained experience in regulatory processes including CLIA and biomedical research. Harold has also led teams in product development, bioinformatic analysis, databases queries, and scientific literature.

Harold Nuñez obtained their Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in Microbiology from Universidad de Chile in 2012. Harold also obtained a degree in Clinical Laboratory as a Medical Technologist from Universidad de Chile in 2003.
