Cliff Watson has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction field. Cliff started their career in 1989 as a Project Manager at ADM Associates and worked there until 1994. From 1994 to 2004, they worked at the County of Sacramento, initially as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and later as a Construction Manager for the Sacramento County Airport System. During their time at the County of Sacramento, Cliff managed staff, engineers, and inspectors for various expansion and upgrade projects at the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Plant and the Sacramento International Airport, among others. In 2004, Cliff joined Psomas as a Project Manager and worked in that role until 2013. Cliff then moved to MWH Global and served as a Senior Construction Manager from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Cliff returned to Psomas as a Senior Project Manager.
Cliff Watson pursued their education in a sequential manner, starting from 1979 to 1983 at Santa Rosa Junior College, where they studied biology and engineering. However, they did not obtain a degree from this institution. Subsequently, from 1983 to 1986, they attended California State University-Sacramento, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. It should be noted that no specific information regarding the month of obtaining the additional certification as a Licensed Mechanical Engineer from the California Department of Consumer Affairs Board for Professional Engineers is provided.
