Juan Carlos Tamayo

Juan Carlos Tamayo has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of embedded systems engineering, hardware and software development, and control engineering. Juan Carlos most recently worked as an Embedded System Engineer at PSYONIC starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Hardware and Software Developer, designing and programming data acquisition systems for measuring physical wear in museum exhibits. Juan Carlos also served as an Engineer of Hardware at INBIODROID from May 2021 to November 2022. Before that, they worked as a Control Engineer at Dicontrol Equipamentos Eletronicos, where they maintained industrial equipment, repaired paper cutting machines, and designed and implemented automated positioning systems for cutting machines. Juan Carlos also has experience as a freelance Hardware Developer, a Software Developer at the Centro de Investigaciones en Optica, and a Software Developer at Andre bocassi. Juan Carlos briefly worked as a Hardware Developer at COMERCIAL ELECTROCENTRAL.

Juan Carlos Tamayo attended Universidad La Salle Bajío from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería eléctrica, electrónica y de comunicaciones. Juan Carlos then completed a certification program called "Google Activate" offered by Google in July 2018. In 2019, they also attended Université Laval for a short-term program in Français langue étrangère et leadership. In August 2019, they obtained another certification called "TfI- Puntaje equivalente a B1" from ETS. Juan Carlos Tamayo is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Ciencias de la computacion at Instituto Tecnológico de León, starting in 2022 and expected to end in 2023. In September 2022, they obtained a TOEFL-ITS score of 586 points.
