Budi Abid Kristianto

Budi Abid Kristianto, with extensive expertise in geothermal energy and geology, has been serving as the Head of Division for Exploration SOE & Government Drilling Projects at PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) since September 2019. Budi's role involves managing an exploration core team and overseeing projects funded by the government and the World Bank. Budi holds a Master of Energy in Geothermal from the University of Auckland, awarded through the 2017 New Zealand Embassy Scholarship. Prior experience includes significant positions at Chevron as a Development Geologist and Exploration Geologist, specializing in drilling campaigns and prospect evaluation across various geothermal areas. Budi started the professional journey at PT Elnusa, where skills in geophysics and geology were further developed. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Universitas Padjadjaran and foundational education in science.
