Jeff Cox

Jeff Cox has over 10 years of experience in various legal and regulatory roles. Jeff is currently the VP of Compliance at PTS Corp. Prior to that, they served as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance at NMI Management. Jeff also worked for the Illinois Department of Agriculture as the Bureau Chief of Medicinal Plants, where they were responsible for implementing and coordinating the Medical and Adult-Use Cannabis Programs. Jeff also served as an Administrative Law Judge and Assistant General Counsel during their time at the department. Before that, Jeff worked as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Sangamon County State's Attorney's Office, where they prosecuted felony cases and oversaw cases from filing through trial and sentencing. Jeff also gained experience as an Associate Attorney at Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen, where they participated in the defense of civil legal cases and communicated with insurance companies and defense attorneys. Jeff started their legal career as an Assistant State's Attorney at Sangamon County.

Jeff Cox attended Truman State University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Agricultural Business and Management. From 2005 to 2008, they studied at Florida Coastal School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
