Guillermo Mayer currently serves as the President & CEO of Public Advocates Inc., a nonprofit civil rights law firm. In addition to their role at Public Advocates, Guillermo is also a Senior Staff Attorney at the California Student Aid Commission and a Commissioner at the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE). Guillermo has previous experience as a Legislative Director in the California State Senate and has served on the boards of organizations such as OneJustice and Urban Habitat. Guillermo holds a J.D. in Public Interest Law & Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. in Political Science from San Diego State University.
