Walt McRee

Walt McRee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public banking, media production, and community development. As President and Chair of the Public Banking Institute since February 2011, Walt has focused on establishing a network of public partnership banks across America. Additionally, Walt serves as President of Public Banking Associates, providing strategic consulting for publicly-owned depository banks. With a background as a voice-over artist and media creative, Walt has contributed to various national and international productions. Other notable roles include Owner and Managing Director of MtnTop, LLC, and founding member of the Sorg Opera Revitalization Group. Walt's earlier achievements include founding the Alliance for Public Broadcasting, Inc. and developing innovative residential communities. Walt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Geography from Valparaiso University.
