Alan Zibel

Alan Zibel's work experience includes a current role as the Research Director at Public Citizen, where they focus on researching energy and public lands issues, as well as conflicts of interest and corporate giveaways in the Trump administration. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Communications Strategist, providing writing, research, and strategic consulting for nonprofit clients. Alan has also held positions as the Director of Advocacy Communications at Enterprise Community Partners, Reporter at The Wall Street Journal, and Reporter at the Associated Press, where they led housing coverage during the financial crisis. Alan Zibel has a background in journalism and has worked for various news organizations including the Baltimore Business Journal, Oakland Tribune/ANG Newspapers, Concord Monitor, Middlesex News, and Boston.com.

Alan Zibel attended Wellesley High School from 1989 to 1992. Following their high school education, they pursued a bachelor's degree in History from Duke University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996.
