Tasha Stefanis

Tasha Stefanis has a extensive work experience in the Canadian public sector. Tasha currently holds the position of Special Advisor at Indigenous Services Canada. Prior to this, they worked at the Public Health Agency of Canada as the Associate Vice President for Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention. From 2008 to 2022, they held various roles at Health Canada, including Director General, Director General of the COVID Task Force, Executive Director of Strategic Policy, Planning and Portfolio Affairs, Director of the Office of Indigenous Affairs and Engagement, Senior Advisor, and Director of Operations. Tasha also worked as a Communications Advisor at the Parliament of Canada from 1999 to 2003.

Tasha Stefanis attended Carleton University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree, specializing in Journalism.
