Joseph Ballard is an Environmental Health Specialist Fellow at Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County, focusing on translating documents into Spanish and assisting the county's outreach to Spanish-speaking populations for the 2020 Census. Alongside this role, Joseph serves as a Biology Tutor at Wabash College, supporting students in science courses through peer guidance. Joseph has conducted stem cell research on C. elegans since the summer after freshman year and acted as an ambassador for the Global Health Initiative in Peru, where translation services were provided. Additionally, Joseph works as a Spanish Translator and Scribe at Montgomery County Free Clinic Inc., facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers. Joseph was also a Dartmouth MD-PhD Undergraduate Summer Fellow, selected for a prestigious program integrating research and clinical experience in breast cancer. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Wabash College.
