Shubhajit Aluni

Shubhajit Aluni has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations. Shubhajit is currently serving as an Assistant Manager Finance at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) since May 2022. In this role, they are responsible for managing the finance function and overseeing the institutional finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, and resolving workflow issues between teams.

Prior to their current position, Shubhajit worked as a Humanitarian Finance Officer at Oxfam India from September 2017 to April 2022. Here, they focused on financial matters related to humanitarian projects.

Before joining Oxfam India, Shubhajit had worked at PHFI as a Finance Officer from April 2012 to September 2017. During this time, they gained experience in financial management within the organization.

Shubhajit started their career at SRF Limited, where they served as an Officer Accounts from August 2010 to April 2012, gaining expertise in accounting and financial operations.

Prior to that, they worked at THE INCLEN TRUST INTERNATIONAL as an Accountant from April 2008 to August 2010, and at Mahesh Kumar & Company as an Auditor cum Account Executive from May 2006 to April 2008.

Their career began at B.Gupta & Co. as an Account Assistant from November 2004 to April 2006, where they gained foundational experience in accounting.

Throughout their career, Shubhajit has developed strong financial management and accounting skills, working in both the public health and humanitarian sectors.

Shubhajit Aluni completed their high school education from Fatepur High (H.S) School between 1993 and 2001. Shubhajit obtained their 10+2 degree with a specialization in Commerce during this period. Following that, they attended the University of Kalyani from 2001 to 2004, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Shubhajit successfully passed the B.Com (Hons) examination during their time at the University of Kalyani.
