Amelia Federico

Amelia Federico is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in organizing, political strategy, and community engagement. Currently serving as the EYE For Prevention Youth Leader at the Public Health Institute at Denver Health since November 2023, Amelia has also held various roles including Organizing and Political Strategy Associate at Our Turn since November 2017, where responsibilities included liaising with political organizations and developing strategies for community-focused campaigns. Other notable experiences include serving as a Diversity Project Assistant at Metropolitan State University of Denver, a Government Relations Intern at The Capstone Group LLC, and an intern at both the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and the United States Senate. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with dual minors in Chicano/Chicana studies and Communications from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is pursuing further education in Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University.
