Kristine Omen

Kristine Omen is an experienced professional with a strong background in maternal and child health navigation, health outreach, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Maternal Child Health Navigator at Public Health Madison and Dane County since August 2016, Kristine previously worked as an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist at Access Community Health Centers, where responsibilities included assisting uninsured patients with health insurance enrollment. Kristine's prior roles include serving as a Community Resource Specialist for United Way of Dane County 2-1-1, where engagement with community services was emphasized. Additional experience includes a Shift Manager position at Noodles & Company, various volunteer roles, and internships focused on women's health and community health. Kristine holds a BA in Communication Arts, Gender and Women's Studies, and LGBT Studies from UW-Madison.
