Nicole Carle

Nicole Carle has extensive experience in international law and policy, currently serving as Counsel at the Public International Law & Policy Group since May 2020. Carle has supported accountability and transitional justice efforts in regions including Ukraine, Yemen, Kenya, and Sri Lanka and previously managed the Human Rights Documentation Solutions Project. Prior roles include Policy and Messaging Strategist for Nick Antonucci for Congress, Junior Staff Member at the American University National Security Law Brief, Law Fellow for U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth, Student Attorney at the Women and the Law Clinic, and Intern at the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Carle also contributed as a Research Associate for the Public International Law & Policy Group, participated in the Washington College of Law War Crimes Research Office, and served as President of Tulane Women in Politics. Nicole Carle holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Political Economy from Tulane University.
