Sandra Ruiz

Sandra Ruiz has extensive experience in human resources and talent development. Sandra is currently the Vice President of People and Culture at the Public Policy Institute of California. Before this, they served as the VP of HR and Talent Development at The Greenlining Institute from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Sandra held the position of HR Director at La Clinica de La Raza from 2009 to 2017, where they focused on recruitment, retention, and workforce development. Sandra also worked as the HR Director at the Center for Elders Independence from 2007 to 2009, where they implemented strategic HR systems and improved customer service. Sandra has additional experience as an HR Director at Serpico Inc from 2004 to 2007 and as an HR Staff Director at Juma Ventures from 2002 to 2003.

Sandra Ruiz has a Bachelor's degree in Chicano Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Sandra also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
