Michael Balavitch

Growing up, Michael couldn’t decide whether to pursue his left‐brained or right‐brained interests. As a math geek, he relished in solving puzzles, crunching numbers, and calculating complex equations. And as a music nerd, he enjoyed learning scales, studying time signatures, and analyzing his favorite songs. But Michael realized, as he got older, that he couldn’t choose between his interests, so he found harmony in both — as a finance guy during the week and a rock guitarist on the weekend.

At PSC, Michael uses his analytical and creative skills as the director of finance, where he keeps the finance and accounting sides of the firm running smoothly. He provides strategic leadership and support to shareholders and takes pride in delivering meaningful reporting, financial projections, and analysis. Always looking for opportunities to help PSC achieve its strategic objectives, Michael brings his creative mindset and meticulous nature to the firm.

Prior to joining PSC, Michael served in various finance roles at Sparrow Health System, most recently as finance manager, where he supported the medical group with financial planning and reporting needs. Before that, he was the controller for a multisite manufacturing group.
