Bhavika Patel

Bhavika Patel is a Human Rights Generalist at the Public Service Alliance of Canada since July 2023. Previously, Bhavika served as an Equity Diversity and Inclusion Advisor at the Canada Border Services Agency from February 2020 to July 2023, where responsibilities included advising on Action Plans, conducting feasibility assessments for training courses, and implementing an Executive Mentorship program. Additional roles at the Canada Border Services Agency included Advisor, where Bhavika developed resources for equity-deserving groups, and Secretariat for the Women's Advisory Committee, focused on revising action plans and enhancing member engagement in women-centric initiatives. Early career experiences involved positions as a Receptionist at Royal LePage Performance Realty and a Clerk at Defence Construction Canada, as well as a Pharmacy Assistant at Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. Bhavika holds a Master of Arts in Feminist and Gender Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Psychology from the University of Ottawa.
