Summer Strand

Summer Strand currently serves as Chairperson and Commissioner at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Summer Strand was the Director of Government Affairs at Walbec Group from May 2016 to March 2023. Experience also includes serving as Division Administrator at the Wisconsin Department of Administration, where responsibilities included managing a biennial state building program and acting as Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Building Commission from March 2011 to May 2016. Earlier in Summer Strand's career, a tenure at the Wisconsin State Senate involved roles as Chief of Staff and Attorney from January 2007 to January 2011. Educational qualifications include a JD from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
