Rick Thigpen

Rick Thigpen is a seasoned professional in government relations and corporate responsibility, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Citizenship at PSEG since March 2007. In this role, Rick oversees federal, state, and local government relations, as well as corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives. Prior to PSEG, Rick held the position of Vice President of State Government Affairs at 1868 Public Affairs and was a Partner at the New Jersey Democratic State Committee. Rick's extensive experience in public service includes roles as Executive Director for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and District Director for Congressman Donald M. Payne, Sr. Rick began their career as an Associate at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP. Rick holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Brown University.
