José Alves

José Alves is an experienced information designer and data journalist, currently employed at Público since June 2006. With a strong background in infographics and illustration, José has worked with various companies, including Cofina Media and Impala, and has contributed to notable publications such as SÁBADO magazine. José's freelance experience includes projects for Proteste editors and Porto Editora Group. An accomplished author of a children's drawing book, José has also pursued continuous education in areas such as JavaScript and pedagogy for journalists. Notable training includes participation in the Malofiej Infographic World Summit and workshops in infographic design.
