Ken Chitwood

Ken Chitwood is a seasoned academic and journalist specializing in the intersection of religion, humanitarian work, and cultural issues. Currently a Habilitation Candidate at the University of Bayreuth, Ken engages in research and teaching within the Study of Religion. Ken also serves as a Research Affiliate at the University of Southern California, contributing to the "Spiritual Exemplars" project, and is involved with multiple media organizations, including Sojourners as a Faith & Immigration Reporter and Christianity Today as a European Correspondent. Ken is recognized for extensive contributions to various publications and has authored over 150 book reviews. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Religious Studies and an M.A. in Theology & Culture, supported by a deep commitment to exploring the complexities of contemporary global religious practices.
