Chad Carrico

Chad Carrico's work experience includes various roles in software engineering and management. Chad is currently the Director of Software Engineering at PubNub. Previously, they worked as a consultant at DealCloset, providing a range of consulting services. Chad also served as a subject matter expert for the Department of Energy on the Smart Grid rollout and its security issues. Carrico has held senior engineering management positions at Micro Focus - Voltage SecureData and Wave Systems. Chad has experience in leading development teams, overseeing feature development and support, and driving architectural changes. Additionally, Carrico has worked at Proximex, Eyeona, Tripwire Inc., NetIQ, Ten Square, and Bridge Information Systems, Inc., where they gained experience in roles such as Engineering Manager, Lead Developer, and Principal Software Engineer.

Chad Carrico pursued their Ph.D. in Nuclear/Mechanical Engineering from 1982 to 1991 at Northwestern University.
