Joshua Krall has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joshua is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Puck, a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to that, they were a Partner at OpenAtlas starting from January 2020. From August 2015 to January 2020, they served as the Co-Founder and VP of Technology at Boom Supersonic, a startup in Centennial, Colorado.
Before their time at Boom Supersonic, Joshua held the position of Director of Engineering - MerchantOS at Groupon from March 2012 to August 2015. During their tenure, they played a key role in architectural design and development of various backend infrastructures and managed a team of around 50 developers.
In 2013, Joshua founded HelloCar and served as the Founder & CTO, successfully building an on-demand rental car product with an iOS app, web booking UI, payments integration, and backend systems.
Prior to HelloCar, they founded FeeFighters.com in 2008, a comparison-shopping portal for credit card processing. Joshua led the company's growth, secured seed and A funding rounds, and developed a strong customer base with steady monthly revenue until March 2012.
Joshua's earlier work experience includes serving as a Founding Partner at Ascent Technologies from 2002 to 2010, a Summer Associate at Deloitte Consulting in 2007, and Technical Director roles at Rhythm & Hues from 2005 to 2007 and Digital Domain from 2003 to 2005.
Joshua Krall attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Drama Design & Production during the same time period. From 2006 to 2009, Joshua attended the University of Chicago and obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree, specializing in Public Policy. Joshua also pursued an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business during the same time period.
