Janet Hidalgo

Janet Hidalgo is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and community advocacy. Currently serving as a Community Advocate for Pueblo School District No 60 since September 2020, Janet supports students and their families in accessing necessary resources for school. Janet has also worked as a teacher in the ESS program at Pueblo City-County Library District since June 2018 and served as a substitute teacher in Canon City Fremont County RE-1 schools from June 2014 to September 2020. Previous roles include consulting for Usborne Publishing and serving as the Executive Director for Pueblo West Chamber of Commerce, where responsibilities included customer service and accounting. Additionally, Janet has held positions as a Library Technician for School District 70 and a Circulation Clerk II at Pueblo Library. Janet holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education from CSU-P and an Associate of Science degree in Library Information and Science from Pueblo Community College.
