Maria Nevares-Hernandez

Maria Nevares-Hernandez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in hospitality and public relations. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at The Puerto Rico Tourism Company since January 2017, Maria has previously held pivotal roles including Executive Assistant and guest services concierge at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. Maria's background includes leadership positions such as Sales Director at Bravo Distributors, Director of Public Affairs at Puerto Rico Telephone Company, Director of Communications and Publications at the Government Development Bank of Puerto Rico, and Assistant Director of Public Relations & Communications at the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. Academically, Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Hospitality Management from Tourism School Santa Maria España, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of New Rochelle, and a certification in Management Development from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
