Kaitlynn Scannell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the creative and multimedia fields. Kaitlynn is currently a Creative Producer at Puffco, where they oversee the production of creative content. Prior to that, they worked as a Content Producer at Puffco.
Before joining Puffco, Kaitlynn worked as a Freelance Producer, specializing in research and talent booking for a female-focused talk show. Kaitlynn also facilitated field filming in multiple locations and edited promotional and social media clips.
Prior to their freelance work, Kaitlynn served as a Video Director and Producer at EF Education First, where they collaborated with cross-functional teams to create high-quality digital storytelling through video. Kaitlynn was involved in the entire production process, from pre to post-production.
Kaitlynn also gained experience at WTTW/Chicago PBS as an Assistant Digital Content Producer, Documentary Associate Producer, and Documentary Researcher. Kaitlynn was responsible for creating and editing written and visual content for production and online content in conjunction with documentaries.
Kaitlynn began their career at Passion Planner as a Multimedia Producer and Brand Storyteller, where they created engaging digital content for websites, social media, and email. Additionally, they worked as a Multimedia Reporter and Journalist at Japan Travel K.K., creating, editing, and promoting content in various forms.
Kaitlynn's earlier experiences include working as a Multimedia Fellow at The World Bank and as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design.
Kaitlynn Scannell completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design from 2008 to 2012. Kaitlynn also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Free Arts from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar from 2010 to 2011. Kaitlynn has obtained additional certifications in areas such as creating a short film, getting things done, and video production and editing from LinkedIn, with certifications obtained in 2018 and 2019.
