Sara Hetrick is an experienced professional in environmental management and policy, currently serving as an Air Resource Specialist at Puget Sound Clean Air Agency since February 2020. Prior to this role, Sara held the position of Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives at UC Davis John Muir Institute of the Environment from November 2017 to February 2020, and was a Robert Bosch Transatlantic Fellow at Robert Bosch Stiftung from July 2016 to September 2017. Additionally, Sara worked as an Air Pollution Specialist at the California Air Resources Board, focusing on Cap-and-Trade Program Development from September 2012 to June 2016. Previous experience includes research fellowships at Population Institute and Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, as well as project management at Environmental Science Associates. Educational credentials include a Master of Environmental Management in Environmental Economics and Policy from Duke University (2010-2012) and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara (2003-2007).
