Michelle Vargo

Michelle Vargo is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in energy operations and engineering management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Energy Operations at Puget Sound Energy since July 2023, Michelle previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the City of Seattle from June 2021 to August 2023. A significant portion of Michelle's career was dedicated to Seattle City Light, where key roles included Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Director of Transmission and Distribution. Michelle's background also includes managerial positions at The Linde Group and LINDE LLC, as well as service in the US Army, where Michelle achieved numerous commendations for excellence. Michelle Vargo holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy.
