Joan Martínez MacIà

Joan Martínez Macià has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joan started their career as a Commissioning Engineer at ASEA AB, where they worked from 1982 to 1988. Joan then joined ABB as an Engineering Manager, a role they held until 1995. During their time at ABB, they gained valuable experience in the engineering field. In 1995, Joan Martínez Macià joined Puig as an Industrial Director, a position they held for almost 20 years. Joan'sdedication and expertise in the industry led him to be promoted to the role of Global Industrial Strategy and Sustainability Director in 2014. Alongside their work at Puig, they also served as the Vice President of the Associació d'Empreses de l'Eix Besòs - Barcelona from 2001 to 2023. Joan Martínez Macià has a diverse education history. In 1999, they attended the University of Navarra for a Professional Development Program (PDG - IESE). More recently, they participated in various training programs, including Finance Fundamentals for Executives at IMD in 2017, Private Security Management at Universitat Abat Oliba CEU in 2015, and Essentials of Global Leadership at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2013. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Coaching with NLP at Institut Gestalt and has completed training programs in systemic coaching and systemic constellations.
