Lars Op den Kamp has worked in the IT industry since 2007. In 2007, they completed an internship in software engineering at Valadis Benelux. In 2009, they worked as a software engineer and interned in architecture and tooling at Circle Software. In 2010, they worked as a PVR developer for Team XBMC, and also developed custom integrations for Kodi and PVR solutions for various companies. In 2011, they became the owner of Op den Kamp IT Solutions and a HTPC/PVR solution vendor, and also became the lead developer of MatrixOS, the operating system that drives Pulse-Eight's HDMI matrix switches, splitters and audio matrix switches.
Lars Op den Kamp attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. From 2008 to 2010, they also attended Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, where they earned an Ing in ICT. From 2001 to 2005, they attended the University of Twente, studying Computer Science.
