Emmanuel Jimawo has held various positions in the software development industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Business Analyst at Benin Electricity Distribution Plc, where they were responsible for the management of raw field data, analysis of daily activities reports, provision of back-end support for efficient field operations, billing analysis, and negotiation of debt recovery agreements. In 2020, they joined Blueport Software as a Senior Software Developer, where they were involved in the design and development of applications using Python, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, React js, Vue js, Docker, Flutter, and Wix. Emmanuel also created APIs for both internal and external use using Django Rest Framework and GraphQL. Later that same year, they joined SharpStudy as a Software Developer, where they developed a web application for learning using Node. js, React, Postgres, Typescript, and GraphQL. In 2022, they began working at Pulse Industrial as a Full-stack Developer, where they are responsible for web application architecture and development, implementing and deploying AI-based solutions and automation, and cloud computing and back-end solution development. Emmanuel also began working at Skyward as a Mobile Application Developer, where they developed a functional mobile application that consumes the APIs for a blockchain project (ios and android), analyzed details with other developers to ensure product specifications meet customers’ requirements, and maintained the codebase.
Emmanuel Jimawo attended Covenant University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Emmanuel then attended the Cisco Networking Academy from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a CISCO CERTIFIED NETWORK ASSOCIATE (CCNA) certification. Additionally, they completed a Certification in the Maintenance and Repairs of Computer Systems at Mikon Institute of Information Technology in 2008. Finally, they earned a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin in 2016-2018.
