Gourav Dhar

Gourav Dhar is a Senior Software Engineer at Pulse Labs since December 2020, specializing in software system design, architecture, and backend development. Prior experience includes a role as a Research and Development Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics from June 2019 to December 2020. Gourav also contributed to the Student Mentorship Program at IIT Roorkee as a Student Mentor from July 2018 to May 2019, guiding incoming students on campus opportunities. In addition, Gourav held leadership positions in the Artificial Intelligence and Electronics Society at IIT Roorkee, serving as Manager and Joint Secretary, where responsibilities included project management and organizing workshops on Deep Learning. An internship at Samsung Electronics in 2018 involved designing a system architecture for hand gesture detection on the Samsung Gear Frontier S3 smartwatch. Academically, Gourav holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and completed high school education at DAV Public School and Atomic Energy Central School.
