Hai Po Sun is the Co-Founder and CTO at pulseData. Hai has also served as a Trustee and Vice President for the PROMYS Foundation, a US 501(c)(3) public charity that supports the Program In Mathematics For Young Scientists (PROMYS), a summer program for carefully selected promising high school students to pursue intense studies in Number Theory and seminars on topics such as Galois Theory, Complex Analysis in Number Theory, and Geometry and Symmetry. http://www.promys.org/

Hai Po Sun has also been the CTO at Canal Street LLC from July 2009 to June 2015 where they were responsible for systematic trading on AI/ML signals and news / social media sentiments.

From June 2007 to December 2008, Hai Po Sun was the Head of Quantitative Strategy Group at Tradelink where they built a Real-Time Trading Platform using informatics on all listed products.

Hai Po Sun has also served as the Head of Technology-Enabled Proprietary Trading at Wachovia Securities from September 2005 to January 2007.

From January 2002 to August 2005, Hai Po Sun was the Head Trader / Manager of Quantitative Strategies at Amaranth.

Hai Po Sun received their Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a concentration in cryptanalysis. Hai also holds a Bachelors of Science from MIT in the same field. Prior to their time at the renowned university, they attended Mt Greylock Regional High School.

Their manager is Teddy Cha, CEO & Co-Founder. They work with Jung Hoon Son - Director, Bioinformatics, Tia Yu - Business Development & Client Solutions Lead, and Sheri Homayoon Myers - Director, HR.
