Gertie Cai has over 4 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry. Gertie started their career at Organovo Holdings, Inc. in 2017 as a Senior Biostatistician and worked there until 2019. In 2019, they joined Puma Biotechnology, Inc. as the Director of Biostatistics and Programming. Gertie was promoted to the role of VP of Biometrics and Data Management in June 2022.

From 2000 to 2002, Gertie Cai pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences and Economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
