Controls Architect Dt1 (dct) at Punch Powertrain

Patrick Poelmans has extensive experience in controls architecture and application engineering within the automotive industry. Currently serving as Controls Architect for the DT1 project at Punch Powertrain since March 2012, Patrick specializes in developing and overseeing controls solutions. Previous roles at Punch Powertrain include Senior Application Controls Engineer for DCT/CVT, where responsibilities included the development of clutch modules and overall architecture for DCT software, along with improvements on CVT powertrains. Prior to this, Patrick worked at Ford Motor Company as a Chassis Durability Test Engineer and at ASCO as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Patrick holds a Master’s Degree in Electromechanics Engineering from GroupT Leuven.
