Kurt Wiersma

Kurt Wiersma has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Kurt started their career as an intern at Internet Broadcasting Systems in 2001. Afterward, they worked as a Programmer at St. Paul Companies from 2001 to 2002. Kurt then joined the American Academy of Neurology as a Senior Manager for Web Application Development, where they worked from 2002 to 2016. In 2016, Kurt joined OneOme, where they held various roles including Technical Lead and Director of Technology until 2022. Following that, Kurt worked at imaware as the Head of Software Engineering, and later the Senior Software Engineering Manager, from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working at Punch Through as the Principal Cloud Software Architect. In addition to their professional roles, they also own and operates KDub Web Design LCC, a consulting and software development business focused on web-based applications.

From 1997 to 2001, Kurt Wiersma attended St. Olaf College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry.
