Michael Andres Peña Gonzalez

Michael Andres Peña Gonzalez has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Michael Andres started their career in 2013 at AxURE Technologies, where they served as an Especialista de nuevos productos, leading projects and developments in telecommunications and automation. Michael Andres was responsible for product tracking and engineering analysis. At CareCloud S.A.S., they worked as a Coordinador de proyectos, leading the development of new products and managing servers and databases.

In 2017, they joined KOGHI S.A.S. as a Coordinador QA, where they led the software quality area and implemented agile development methodologies. Michael Andres also had experience in server configuration and administration. Later, they worked at the fondo rotatorio del ministerio de relaciones exteriores - Colombia in 2019 as a Desarrollador de software SITAC.

From 2018 to 2020, Michael worked at the Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi (IGAC) as a Desarrollador de software SNC, where they provided professional services for the design, development, and maintenance of information systems and applications. Michael Andres also worked on the development and implementation of open-source BPM software.

In the same year, they joined AxURE Technologies as a Desarrollador y Auditor Software I+D, contributing to the development of a pioneering system for monitoring storm alarms. Michael Andres also worked on front-end development, application container configuration, and integration of service buses.

In 2020, Michael had two roles. Michael Andres worked at Saludtools as a Leader Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. Michael Andres also joined Caja de la Vivienda Popular as a Full Stack Engineer, where they provided professional services for the design, development, administration, and maintenance of software components.

From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Cobiscorp as a Líder de Gobierno de Calidad, leading quality governance activities. Currently, they are employed at Puntos Colombia as a Jefe calidad de software, responsible for software quality management.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained experience in various programming languages, frameworks, and databases, including Java, EJB, JPA, Spring Boot, HTML, TypeScript, Angular, Oracle, MySQL, and SQLServer. Michael Andres has also demonstrated expertise in agile methodologies, server administration, and project management tools.

Michael Andres Peña Gonzalez earned a degree in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada from 2008 to 2013. Michael Andres then pursued a specialization in Informática y Automática industrial from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas starting in 2015 and ending in 2016.
