Clare Shanahan

Clare Shanahan is an experienced educator currently serving as a PreK3 Teacher at the Archdiocese of New York since August 2024. Clare has a strong background in teaching and education management, previously holding positions such as Second Grade Teacher and Science Department Head at the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, where responsibilities included leading the science curriculum for grades 2-5 and organizing school-wide science initiatives. Additional experience includes roles as an Elementary School Science Teacher and Teacher Assistant within various Archdiocesan schools, along with teaching for a specialized program at Columbia University. Clare holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University and is pursuing multiple master's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Clare has also engaged in brand ambassadorship for Pura Vida Bracelets and has worked in retail environments, demonstrating a diverse skill set in education and customer service.
