Katherine Shortill has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Katherine started their career at MCCS as a Lifeguard in 2009 and then went on to become a Water Safety Instructor in 2010 and a Senior Water Safety Instructor in 2011. In 2013, they joined SDSU Associated Students as an Aztec Student Union Board Assistant. Katherine then worked at San Diego Creative Media as a Graphic Design Intern from March 2014 to June 2014, and later as a Graphic Designer from June 2014 to December 2016. In 2014, they also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at KM Creativ from August 2014 to May 2019. From 2017 to 2020, Katherine worked at Pura Vida, first as a Lead Visual Designer and then as a Senior Designer. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Art Director at Pura Vida starting from May 2023.
Katherine Shortill began their education in 2010 at San Diego State University-California State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design. Katherine completed their studies in 2014. Additionally, they attended the University of Technology, Sydney, from an unspecified start date until 2012. The degree pursued and field of study at the University of Technology, Sydney, are unknown.
