Dalan Cox has a range of work experience in the technology and food industries. Dalan started their career as a Manager at Chip Cookies, where they oversaw daily operations, managed staff, and focused on improving sales and operational processes.
Dalan then transitioned to a role at Pura, first as a Customer Care Senior Expert, providing exceptional customer service and acting as a liaison between customers and product-related concerns. Dalan also worked part-time as a web developer for Pura's Help Center.
As a Software Engineer Intern at Pura, Dalan built internal tools for the company, specifically focusing on the development of a new internal customer service dashboard to enhance efficiency and speed of service for Customer Care representatives.
Currently, Dalan is a Junior Software Engineer at Pura, where they have created and implemented a Support Dashboard to diagnose issues with IoT devices, Shopify orders, WMS systems, and subscriptions. Dalan has also worked on APIs to deliver product information to mobile apps and integrated a chat bot SDK into mobile apps using Swift and Kotlin.
Dalan Cox completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Snow College, where they attended from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, they enrolled in Codecademy and completed several courses, including "Learn How to Code," "Building Interactive JavaScript Websites," "Learn the Command Line," and "Learn Git."
