Nishanth Dongari

Nishanth Dongari has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and academic institutions. Nishanth founded PUR Energy Pvt Ltd in 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Professor at IIT Hyderabad starting from 2013. Nishanth also served as a Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, where they taught fluid mechanics and heat transfer courses, reviewed undergraduate thesis works, and worked as a Marie Curie ESR Fellow contributing to the development of theoretical models and simulation tools. Nishanth was also a Visiting Scientist at STFC Daresbury Laboratory, specializing in the modelling and design of microfluidic devices. Before that, they worked as an Application Engineer at Applied Coating GmbH, focusing on fluid dynamics research and product development. Nishanth started their academic career as a Research Assistant at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.

Nishanth Dongari completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in the years 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde from the years 2009 to 2012.
