Brett Tarbox

Brett Tarbox has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brett started their career at Bass & Associates, P.C., where they worked as a Legal Representative from August 2002 to July 2003. Brett then transitioned to the role of Operations Manager, overseeing four business units and managing a team of over 40 employees from July 2003 to September 2004. Following that, Brett assumed the position of IT Director at Bass & Associates, P.C., where they directed the operations of information technology, information security, database management, telecommunications, and technical support from September 2004 to April 2007.

In 2007, Brett joined University of Utah Health as an IT Manager, Citrix Support. During this role, they managed a team of eight IT personnel and resources, maintaining a stable and efficient virtual application and desktop delivery environment. Additionally, they led a project to provide secure remote access to the electronic health record for over 18,000 mobile users. After eight years in this role, they were promoted to IT Manager, Client Engineering in November 2015. In this position, Brett led a team of two technical supervisors and 15 systems administrators, responsible for the engineering and operations of Citrix virtualization, client configuration, endpoint security, enterprise printing, mobile device management, and software delivery. Brett managed and configured a large infrastructure including 1,000 servers, 12,000 clients, 5,000 printers, and 5,000 mobile devices. Brett held this role until September 2021.

Currently, Brett is serving as a Senior Technical Project Engineer at Pure IT Credit Union Services, a position they have held since September 2021.

Brett Tarbox holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Arizona, completed in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from the University of Utah in 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brett has also acquired various certifications in the field of IT. Brett obtained the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals from Microsoft in January 2023, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2022 (VCP-DCV) from VMware in January 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2020, ITIL Foundation v3 from EXIN your ICT competence partner in March 2015, ITIL Foundation v2 from EXIN your ICT competence partner in March 2009, CCA - Cato Certified Associate from Cato Networks in June 2023, Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA - N) from Citrix in May 2019, Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP - V) from Citrix in May 2019, and Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V) from Citrix in October 2017. No specific start years are provided for both their bachelor's and master's degrees.
