Monica Rovers

Monica Rovers has extensive experience in leadership and business development, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Governance & ESG Lead at Pure Life Carbon Inc., along with the role of Partnerships Director at Export Development Canada since August 2022. As the CEO of Global Connect Corporation, Rovers guides international business development and foreign direct investment. Additional roles include instructing courses at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and previously at the Higher Colleges of Technology, specializing in international business and logistics. Rovers has held various strategic positions, including Global Partner at Rainmaker Global BD and a director position with Imperial Helium, and has contributed to advisory boards, particularly at Stonechair Capital Corp. Earlier career highlights include leading global energy initiatives at TMX Group. Rovers holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
