Chief Brand and Product Officer at Pure Scooters

Nick Larsen has extensive work experience in the cycling industry. Nick is currently serving as the Chief Brand and Product Officer at Pure Electric since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Pon from March 2018 to January 2023, where they held the position of VP Global Creative & Industrial Design for Cannondale. During their tenure, Larsen played a crucial role in refreshing the Cannondale brand and completely redesigning the product range, leading to significant growth in consumer engagement, sales, and profitability.

Before Pon, Larsen worked at Cycling Sports Group from September 2012 to March 2018. Here, they served as the Founder of Fabric and Director of Creative Design. In this role, they built the start-up brands from scratch and focused on innovation across various aspects such as concepting, design, engineering, marketing, and distribution. Larsen aimed to solve cycling problems through design excellence and a user-friendly experience.

Prior to that, Larsen was the Founder and Creative Director at Charge Bikes from October 2004 to March 2018. Nick also owned Gate Eight from October 2001 to December 2011, where they acted as the owner. Before this, Larsen worked as a Production Manager at Epoch Design from February 2001 to October 2002.

Larsen began their career in 1995 at Pashley Cycles, where they held the position of Product/Industrial Designer until February 2001. During their time at Pashley, they created and led a sub-brand called "TVSeries" and developed a product line to target a younger demographic. Nick was responsible for various aspects such as bicycle design, manufacture, marketing, team management, retail merchandising, and brand partnerships. Additionally, Larsen designed a range of bikes for Land Rover.
