Rachel Shanava

Rachel Shanava is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Pure Storage since March 2015, Rachel supervises three teams focused on FlashArray replication solutions and collaborates with Product Management to shape the product roadmap. Previous roles include Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Pure Storage, where Rachel led teams in developing replication technologies and significantly improved VM migration performance. Rachel has also held senior engineering positions at Coraid, NetApp, Venturi Wireless, Check Point Software Technologies, and Sanrad, contributing to various storage and security products. Rachel's educational background includes a degree in Software Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from Tufts University.
