Thomas Schweizer

Thomas Schweizer currently serves as Group CEO at Pureon, a company specializing in lapping and polishing highly demanding surfaces for various industries. Prior to this, Thomas held several senior management positions at Oerlikon Balzers Coating AG, including Country President for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, General Manager, and Head of Area Europe Centre-East, overseeing operations and managing a workforce of approximately 150 employees. Thomas also has experience in China as General Manager, with full P&L responsibility for multiple business lines and 400 employees. Additional roles include General Manager at Sulzer Metco AG, Head of Business Development and Vice President at OC Oerlikon Balzers AG, and Head of Engine Testing at EMPA. Thomas holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich and an MBA in General Management from University College Dublin.
